  • CARLA M. ARMSTRONG

    • Carla graduated Summa Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2003.   With a Business Administration and Marketing background, she secured an undergraduate internship in Dental Sales.  Carla accepted a full-time offer with 3M and has been in Dental Sales for the last five years.  She sold impression materials, cements, adhesives, composites and various other products to over 1500 general practitioners, orthodontists, pedodontists, and prosthodontists.

  • SAMANTHA AVILA
    • Samantha graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999 with a BS in Accounting.  Following graduation she joined PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Silicon Valley audit practice and worked with life science startups in the medical device, healthcare services and diagnostics industries.  Two years later Samantha transferred to KPMG as a Senior Associate and earned my CPA designation.  In 2003 she joined the accounting department at Lighthouse Capital Partners, a venture capital firm, to manage fund accounting and financial reporting.  A year later, Samantha transferred to the firm’s life science investment team as an Analyst to perform due diligence on prospective portfolio companies and strengthen the firm’s early stage healthcare portfolio.  Over the past 4.5 years She has had the opportunity to analyze numerous clinical stage investment opportunities in cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology, and neurology and to work with an incredible community of life science entrepreneurs.

  • JAMES (GRANT) BECHTOLD

    • Grant graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 with a BS degree in Psychobiology and a specialization in Business Administration.  While in school, he worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for UCLA EMS, responding to 911 emergencies on campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods.  Following graduation, Grant continued to work full-time as an Emergency Medical Technician and also completed a merchant banking internship where he performed due diligence and analysis on private equity transactions.  In 2003, Grant joined Triage Consulting Group, a healthcare financial services firm based in San Francisco, performing revenue cycle consulting services to hospital clients. He specialized in the identification and recovery of unrealized managed care revenue and also provided strategic recommendations to hospital contracting departments for future negotiations with health plans.  As project manager, Grant led consulting teams, managed and evaluated staff, created strategic work plans and resource allocation projections, and acted as the primary liaison between Triage and the hospital’s executive financial officers.   

  • BRIAN SCOTT BERKIN

    • Brian graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a BBA in Finance and Accounting.  Following graduation, he spent four years in investment banking both at Bear Stearns and Credit Suisse.  As an investment banking analyst, his transaction experience included advisory work in mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt financings across a range of industries.  In 2006, Brian joined RoundTable Healthcare Partners, a healthcare-focused, middle market private equity firm.  As an associate, he identified and executed new investments for RoundTable and add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies.  Brian also created comprehensive financial models, returns analyses, and investment theses for both potential and executed transactions. 

  • ALEXIS BERNSTEIN

    • Alexis graduated from Harvard College in 2005 with a BA in History and Science and a certificate in Health Care Policy. Following graduation, she worked as an Associate in the custom research division of the Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC, researching hospital strategy, operations, and management, focusing on physician-hospital relations and nursing. Alexis then moved into the Manager position in the same department, overseeing a team of Associates, managing relationships with domestic and international hospitals, and consulting for hospital executives on and overseeing research relating to the same topics of physician relations and nursing. In 2007 she began in Booz Allen Hamilton's government management consulting division as a Senior Consultant, working with federal and state government clients both within and outside of the health care sector.

  • ADAM BIRNBAUM

    • Adam graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University in 2005 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Economics.  During school, he conducted biomedical research through internships at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.  Following graduation, Adam joined Monitor Group as a management consultant in Chicago.  Although he consulted across many industries, he focused in healthcare strategy and developed specific experience in pricing strategy, financial and benchmarking analyses, competitive and marketing strategy, and more general corporate strategy.  In 2006, Adam started and led a local branch of Inspire, a national non-profit with 200 volunteers who provide pro-bono consulting services to non-profits.  In 2008, he designed an eight-week analytics training course with the Head of Global Training to be rolled out globally to Monitor's new-hires.
  • MICHAEL BLOOM

    • Micheal graduated from Colby College in 2001 with a BA in Economics. After graduation he moved to Boston to work for Innovative Health Solutions (IHS), a pharma/biotech and medical device consulting firm which specializes in health economics (HECON) analysis and the development of HECON-based software tools. After three years at IHS he joined The Frankel Group (TFG), a New York based life sciences strategy consulting firm. Over the course of nearly four years at TFG Micheal worked on engagements ranging from early R&D planning to late stage commercial strategy and lifecycle management for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies of all sizes. He worked on projects for a number of different modes of therapy (small molecule, large molecule, vaccines, stem cells, etc.) across a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas, my favorites of which include infectious disease, hematology and immunology.
  • DAVID YALE BRILL, MD

    • David graduated from Northwestern University in 2004 with a BA degree in Biological Sciences.  In 2008, he then completed an MD degree at Georgetown University. During medical school, he worked on cutting costs for drug standards development through a research project for United States Pharmacopeia.   In 2007, David traveled to China and conducted profit margin analysis while in the Finance Department of United Family Hospitals. He is also the founder and president of a national medical student organization, The Business of Medicine (BOM).  BOM has local chapters at nearly 20 medical schools across the country. 
  • CHRISTINE CHEN

    • Christine graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2002 with a BA in Neuroscience. During school, she became interested in entrepreneurship after interning for 3 summers at a telecommunications start up which grew from 12 founders to 500 employees by the peak of the tech boom. Following graduation, Christine joined IMS Health to conduct market research in the healthcare industry. In 2005, she earned an M.A. in Organizational Psychology at Columbia University with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution. Christine transferred to IMS' boutique healthcare strategy consulting group (formerly known as Cambridge Pharma) in New York City. As a consultant, she developed market access strategies for pharmaceuticals and medical devices in the US and in emerging markets. Most recently, she moved from Hoboken to Philadelphia with her husband, Kent, to work at Independence Blue Cross as a Manager in Strategy and Corporate Planning where I supported IBC's CEO during our pending merger with Highmark in western Pennsylvania.
  • VINITA CHHAY, DDS

    • In 2003, Vinita graduated Magna Cum Laude from Paris 5-University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She was awarded Best Doctorate Thesis by the National Academy of Dental Surgery for my healthcare systems’ comparison work. In 2004, Vinita graduated Magna Cum Laude from Paris 7- University with a Master of Medical and Biological Sciences and, in 2006, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from INALCO with a Bachelor of Cambodian Language and South-East Asia Civilization.  After my DDS graduation, Vinita worked for 2 years in a small practice. Then she decided to volunteer 6 months in Cambodia at the dental unit of the Preah Kossamak hospital in Phnom Penh. In parallel, Vinita assessed the operational requirements to launch a free dental care unit dedicated to HIV-patients for the local “Medecins du Monde”office. After returning to France, she worked in a bigger medical and dental center (Louvre’s center), where I became more involved in the staff management and the organizational tasks.

  • MARK CHIN

    • Mark graduated with Honors (Distinction) from University of California at San Diego in 2004 with a BS degree in Management Science and minor in Computer Science.  After graduation, he started as a business analyst at Patpatia & Associates, a boutique strategy consulting firm focused in financial services.  Mark worked on projects in the private equity and insurance asset management industries, and my work related to benchmarking insurance asset management performance was published in AM Best and Insurance Finance & Investment.  In 2007, he joined Professional Service Solutions, a management consulting firm in the healthcare space, as a Senior Associate where he led a number of projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients focused on managed care, direct-to-consumer advertising and generic drug defense.  Mark was quickly promoted to Manager and became solely responsible for a wide range of projects related to the commercialization of drug products and portfolios.  He also helped to build a dedicated practice in measuring the effectiveness and impact of patient and physician marketing campaigns for pharmaceutical companies.

  • KELSEY LYNN CHRISTIAN
    • Kelsey graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science in May 2004 with a B.S. in Bioengineering and cum laude honors.  Since graduation, she worked as a consultant for A.T. Kearney, based primarily in New York City, with six months based in Paris.  As a member of her firm's Pharmaceutical and Health Care Practice, she gained health care experience through aiding many large pharmaceutical and consumer health care manufacturers in developing a variety of business strategies.  Examples include product commercialization,  product portfolio management, acquisition integration, and global manufacturing footprint planning.

  • MICHAEL LEE COGAN
    • Michael graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Economics.  Upon graduation he accepted a full-time offer with B. Riley & Co., a boutique equity research and investment banking firm in Los Angeles. he began as an Equity Research Associate working directly under the firm’s Director of Research and focused primarily on the technology space. As a Research Analyst, Michael identified and recommended investment opportunities in publicly-held companies for institutional clients. At the end of 2005, he accepted a position at the San Francisco office of Houlihan Lokey, an international investment bank primarily serving middle-market companies.  In his role as a Senior Financial Analyst, he was engaged in M&A and financing transaction fairness opinions, intangible asset valuations and other financial advisory and valuation services. In this role, Michael worked primarily with technology companies based in the Silicon Valley. The clients ranged from providers of internet, software, and telecommunications products and services to biotechnology and medical devices.

  • CAROLYN DORSEY COLACICCO
    • Carolyn graduated from Yale University in 2003, with distinction in my major, History of Science, History of Medicine.  Following college, she joined Purdue Pharma LP.  As an Analyst in the Environment Health and Safety Group, she was responsible for developing a corporate health program that provided onsite primary healthcare clinics and a disease management program. While working at Purdue Pharma, Carolyn earned a Masters in Public Health (Health Policy and Management) from Columbia University in 2005.  In 2006, she joined the consulting arm of The Advisory Board Company as a Senior Associate, focusing on improving hospital operations.  Her projects included improving diagnostic imaging efficiency, developing strategic growth plans for cardiovascular programs, and implementing cost reduction plans for clinical supplies and pharmacy.  Carolyn later transitioned to the Business Intelligence group as an Associate Director, where she led client-based teams through the implementation process of a technology tool that enables hospitals to reduce clinical supply costs.

  • DEREK CONOVER, DMD
    • Derek graduated with a BS in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland in 2002. After receiving a grant to create a multimedia documentary on individuals experiencing homelessness in Baltimore, he entered Penn’s School of Dental Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008.  Derek spent the summer of 2005 researching the humoral response of individuals with a rare periodontal disease to an implicated pathogen with a 15-syllable name.   As Class and Student Body President at Penn Dental Medicine, he co-founded the school’s first wiki-based free notes service, the first consignment used bookstore, and developed the first student experience survey.
  • EMILY TAMARA COOPER
    • Emily is a 2005 Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College where she majored in Neuroscience.  She completed three years of medical school at Penn, and is on the track to obtain joint MD/MBA degrees.  As a medical student she published research in radiology, and founded a resource website for medical students. She also writes a monthly column for Medscape, a division of WebMD.

  • AMANDA SUTTON DAVIS
    • Amanda graduated from Duke University in 2004 with a BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. After graduation, she moved to New York City and joined a small start-up energy drink company, Energy 69 LLC. As a data analyst, she created sales force productivity tools and metrics to track success of marketing strategies. In the fall of 2004, Amanda began working as an editorial assistant at the Impact Group, a privately-held medical communications company.  As Associate Editor, she took leadership of the company’s two largest primary care physician initiatives and led editorial development of the program guide for the company’s largest conference. As Associate Managing Editor, she lead the medical editorial team through the development and implementation of numerous promotional projects including advisory boards and new product launches. Amanda created content and implemented onsite reviews with faculty for two major international medical conferences.
  • PITAMBER “PITOU” DEVGON, MD
    • Pitou graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000 with a BA in Biological Psychology.  After spending an interim year running a dot-com start-up company that he founded while in college, Pitou attended medical school at EVMS in Virginia. He graduated with honors and came to Philadelphia for my Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  During my residency Pitou also completed internships in technology transfer at Penn’s CTT office and healthcare venture capital at a local fund.  On the entrepreneurial side, he started a niche technology consulting firm that develops web applications and reached the semi-finals of the Wharton Business Plan Competition with a medical device technology.  Currently, he is a part-time physician working on the ICU and cardiology services. 

  • ARIE PABLO DOSORETZ
    • Arie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a BA degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior and a minor in Urban Studies. Following graduation, he joined the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Department of Human Genetics. As a research assistant, Arie studied the genetic basis of several diseases with a focus on Crohn’s disease. He then began his training at the University Of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he has developed a strong interest and participated in clinical research within the field of Radiation Oncology. In the summer of 2006 Arie worked as an assistant to the president of National Medical Professional RRG, a medical malpractice insurer in Boston. At NMP he focused primarily on risk management program development. As a medical student Aurie has taken leadership positions in the Maimonides group and the Oncology interest group.
  • EYAD FARAH
    • Eyad graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel in 1999 with a BA degree in Pharmacy. During his studies, he worked as a Pharmacist Technician in Super-Pharm, the largest and leading  drugstore chain in Israel. After graduation, Eyad worked as a pharmacist in one of the Super-Pharm branches in Jerusalem, eventuall earning a promotion to Chief Pharmacist. He assisted in establishing the pharmacy department and oversaw all its significant activities and tasks. In 2005, Eyad became an Associate in the Super-Pharm company and was the owner and manager of a Super-Pharm branch in kibutz Shfaim. He managed 4 different departments: general, cosmetics, pharmacy and financial. Eyad supervised all store operations, determined marketing strategies, planned advertising campaigns, set product commercialization strategies, analyzed financial reports and managed all budgets of his branch.

  • MIHIR CHANDRASHEKHAR GANDHI
    • Mihir graduated from Duke University in 2001 with dual degrees in Chemistry and Religion. After graduation, he began working at the Advisory Board Company in Washington DC. During his two years at ABC, Mihir worked in the Marketing, Sales, and Product Development departments. Mihir then spent a little over two years at Stockamp & Associates where, as a Senior Associate, he led three provider-side revenue cycle operations/implementation consulting engagements.  In 2006, Mihir joined ChapterHouse Consulting in Chicago to learn about the payer, DMO, and health IT areas while developing a core strategy consulting skill set.  His primary area of focus was developing outcomes-driven, centralized provider reimbursement models.

  • DAVID GILBOA
    • David graduated from the University of California Berkeley in 2003 with a BSE in Bioengineering with Honors. After graduating, he joined Bain & Company as a management consultant for three years in San Francisco and Stockholm. In this role, David performed due diligence on private equity transactions and worked with senior management on strategic issues at some of the world's leading companies in a variety of industries. While at Bain, he took a six month, full-time externship at Genomic Health, a cancer diagnostics company, where he led the company's efforts to develop an international growth strategy. In 2006, David joined Allen & Company, a merchant bank in New York. As an Associate, he conducted due diligence on seed-stage and venture stage principal investments, and led transaction teams in buy-side and sell-side M&A processes for healthcare, digital media and technology companies. David played a key role in expanding the firm's burgeoning healthcare practice, participating in all stages of transaction sourcing and execution. he has also worked extensively with several non-profits, including helping to start the first West Coast office on Inspire, a non-profit consulting firm focused on improving children's education.

  • VIKAS GOYAL
    • Vikas graduated from Harvard University in 2001, with a BA in Neurobiology.  Following graduation, he joined McKinsey & Co’s healthcare practice in Florham Park, NJ, where he worked with top-tier pharmaceutical, medtech, and consumer healthcare companies around the world. He supported a range of corporate initiatives from the post-merger integration of two leading pharmacos to the development of direct-to-consumer strategies for the India division of a leading orthopedic implants player.  In 2004, Vikas joined Extera Partners (fka PureTech Development), a Boston based start-up that has grown into a multi-million dollar advisory firm providing interim executive management support to cutting-edge life science companies.  He has led critical business development and strategy efforts for nearly 50 public, venture-backed, and angel funded life science companies at Extera.  Most recently, Vikas helped establish Extera Capital, a first-time fund that leverages Extera’s unique hands-on business model. 

  • BRANDI HERMAN
    • Brandi graduated from Bucknell University in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a minor in International Relations.  Upon graduation, she joined Johnson & Johnson's (J&J) Financial Leadership and Development Program. Brandi rotated through three J&J operating companies, including Corporate Internal Audit, LifeScan and Pharmaceutical Group Strategic Marketing, learning core corporate financial skills in different areas of the business.  After gradating the program, she returned to J&J Corporate Internal Audit, where she eventually held internal audit company responsibility for J&J's pharmaceutical businesses in Europe, Africa and Latin America.  Brandi then moved into the position of Finance Manager at J&J Pharmaceutical Research & Development, supporting J&J's small molecule pharmaceutical pipeline.

  • ANDREW M. HUNT II
    • Andrew graduated from Brown University in 2004 with a BA in Economics and History.  Following graduation, he joined Cain Brothers, a boutique healthcare-focused investment bank, in New York, NY.  As an Analyst, Andrew assisted in valuing, pitching and executing multiple transactions across a wide range of healthcare verticals and transaction types, including private placements, mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, valuations, and debt restructurings. His clients included healthcare information technology companies, med-tech companies, hospitals, long term care organizations, and alternate site providers.  Andrew also assisted in conceptualizing, researching, and writing Cain Brothers’ “Strategies in Capital Finance” publications, and prepared a weekly healthcare industry newsletter summarizing news and capital market trends.
  • SHARON DEBORA ITZCHAKI
    • Sharon is a 2003 Honors graduate of the University of Chicago where she earned her BA in Economics.  Upon graduating, she joined the Chicago office of Deloitte Consulting as a Business Analyst within their Strategy and Operations group.  Her health care sector projects included process redesign at a regional HMO and efficiency enhancements at a community hospital.  In 2005, Sharon relocated to New York City where she joined the Office of Strategy and Regulatory Planning of New York-Presbyterian Hospital as a Planning Associate.  She was in a hybrid role that consisted of both regulatory planning and strategic business development.  Sharon was promoted to Senior Associate Strategist, wherein she was responsible for driving forward key projects aligned with the hospital’s strategic initiatives. She was also responsible for providing analytic support and devising recommendations to inform executive-level decision-making for the hospital’s key clinical service lines.   In 2007, Sharon moved to Florida to work as an Administrator Designee at an Assisted Living Facility servicing the Adult Limited Mental Health Population.  In this role, she rotated through various positions including regulatory compliance, accounting and finance, and medication management.
  • ERIC JACOBSON
    • Eric graduated from Cornell in 2004 with a BA in Chemistry. After graduation he joined the business strategy group of Accenture’s Health & Life Sciences practice. Over the next four years, Eric worked for clients in the US and Europe on primarily corporate strategy, pre-deal mergers & acquisitions, product licensing, and growth & innovation projects. He has also helped start a few small companies including two web start-ups and a non-profit consulting group where he worked with microfinance organizations in countries such as Kosovo.

  • PRASHANTH JAYARAM
    • Prashanth graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with degrees in Bioengineering and Finance.  After graduating, he worked in the Private Equity division at Morgan Stanley where he helped develop their healthcare vertical.  Prashanth was also an associate in PENN's Office of Investments where he analyzed various investments in the healthcare and real estate for the University's endowment.  He is in the joint MD/MBA program and has just completed the MD segment. Prashanth also founded a biotechnology start-up (located just outside of Philadelphia) and sit on the board of a non-profit company dedicated to bridging the healthcare divide.

  • WILLIAM JOCSON
    • William graduated from UCLA in 2004 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Following graduation, he joined Raytheon SAS (Space and Airborne Systems) in El Segundo, CA, a leading aerospace and defense contractor focused on designing and developing solutions for tactical airborne surveillance.  He began as a Systems Engineer and collected and analyzed engineering metrics from over 10 multi-million dollar programs from Raytheon’s Engineering Center.  In 2005, he utilized his engineering background as an Integration and Test Engineer, ultimately supporting the successful integration of an advanced radar system on a 727 Boeing jet.  He then was selected to become the Environmental Qualification Test Director for one of Raytheon’s advanced radar development programs. His participation as a Riordan Fellow at UCLA Anderson influenced his decision to pursue a career in the health care industry. 

  • LEE KALOWSKI
    • Lee is a 2003 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY where he studied Biology and Economics.  After graduating, he moved to Washington, D.C. to join the reporting staff of "The Pink Sheet," a leading biotech/pharma industry publication, where he was responsible for initiating and developing in-depth and breaking biotech/pharma news articles.  Lee later became the business editor, and in this capacity, he was responsible for leading and directing the business and financial news coverage for the weekly and daily publications.  Subsequently, Lee moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to join Prudential Equity Group's Institutional Investor-ranked large cap pharmaceutical equity research team as an associate analyst. In this role, Lee was the lead associate covering six large-cap pharmaceutical companies.  He was responsible for all aspects of company and industry research, financial modeling and analysis and report development.  In August of 2007, Lee joined Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, LLC, in San Francisco as an associate global pharmaceuticals analyst, where he helped lead the re-launching of research coverage for the firm.  After launching coverage, he was responsible for the on-going research and analysis of the pharmaceutical industry, including leading the research and analysis of five global pharma companies.

  • JOYCE KIM
    • Joyce is a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan, where she majored in economics and minored in philosophy. After graduation, she was hired as an Account Management Associate at the Advisory Board Company (Advisory Board), a research and consulting firm in Washington, DC for hospitals and health systems. Joyce assisted with connecting clients with industry best practices from the Advisory Board's library of research. In 2004, she joined the strategy and management consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant in its Global Health practice in Rockville, MD. Joyce supported efforts for various healthcare entities and agencies within the federal government, but eventually developed a focus on the Medicare market. She worked with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on the rollout of its multi-billion dollar Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program (Part D) and was eventually promoted to Associate.

  • CLAY KRAMER
    • Clay completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with high honors in Finance at The University of Texas at Austin in 2000.  During college, he analyzed, evaluated and critiqued medical device stocks as an analyst at the MBA Investment Fund, L.L.C.  Following graduation, he joined Bear Stearns as a financial analyst in the investment banking structured products group. There he obtained funding for companies through convertible bonds and effectively marketed and communicated the inner-workings of various complex equity-derivative financial products to both internal counterparts and company clients.  In 2003, Clay accepted a position at Fabre-Kramer Pharmaceuticals where he focused on constructing financial forecasts and developing marketing materials of the company’s development-stage products.  In 2004, he began working at Burns McClellan as an Account Manager in the investor relations practice and was later appointed as a Vice President of the group. He created and managed investor relations programs for biotechnology/specialty pharmaceutical clients including Cephalon, Biodel, Inamed, and ViaCell.  During his tenure in investor relations, Clay gained extensive knowledge of working with senior management teams during initial public offerings, clinical data announcements, FDA Advisory Panel meetings, scientific and investor meetings, and merger and acquisitions.

  • CHRISTINE VEASEY LAAKMANN
    • Christine graduated from Princeton University in 2003 with an AB degree in Economics.  Following graduation, she joined Putnam Associates, a boutique strategy consulting firm in the Boston area focused on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.  Her casework at Putnam included pricing and positioning strategies for Phase 3 products approaching FDA approval, as well as share retention strategies for branded products facing impending generic competition. She then joined Othera Pharmaceuticals, an early-stage pharmaceutical company in the Philadelphia area developing products for ophthalmic diseases.  As Business Development Manager, Christine  worked with Othera's senior management to negotiate merger and acquisition, licensing, and other financing transactions.  She worked closely with Othera's R&D departments to interpret Othera's preclinical and clinical data for external business development communications.  Christine also managed all research contracts with external vendors and maintained the company's patent portfolio.

  • LETICIA LAZARIDIS GOLDBERG, DMD
    • Leticia graduated with honors at the Dentistry School at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) in 1999, where she worked as a visiting professor in the Prosthodontics Department. Following graduation, Leticia took a specialization course in Pediatric Dentistry at PUC-Rio. In the meantime she worked as a professor, a private practitioner and was a volunteer at a charitable dental clinic. In 2003, Leticia was admitted to COPPEAD Business Administration School. In her second year, she started to work for a major Brazilian health insurance provider, Amil Assistência Médica as a corporate analyst at the Dental Department, where she carried out strategic planning for dental insurance products. After her graduation, Leticia joined Sul América Seguros, the largest Brazilian multi-line insurance company owned by the ING Group.  As Senior Consultant for the Strategic Planning Department she analyzed and provided recommendations on project restructuring and investments. In 2006, Leticia set up her own consulting firm, Lazgold Consulting, specializing in healthcare services. She analyzed information from health plans, providers and pharmacy benefits to assist companies in the design and optimization of their health benefits and the provision of health services. Leticia also work with the development of online healthcare management tools / software.

  • PATRICK LEE
    • Patrick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a BSE degree in Bioengineering.  He also received a MSE degree in Biomedical Engineering from Penn in 2002.  Following graduation, Patrick joined Easton Associates, a healthcare management consulting firm in New York.  At Easton, he completed numerous engagements for clients in the medical device, diagnostics, pharmaceutical and venture capital industries.  In 2004, Patrick joined Quaker BioVentures, a life science venture capital firm in Philadelphia.  As an Analyst and then Associate, he actively sourced and assessed new investments in biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device companies in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Investments that he worked on include: Celator Pharmaceuticals, TargetRx, Tranzyme Pharma, Amicus Therapeutics, Diasome Pharmaceuticals, Neuronetics, Cellatope, Kolis Scientific, Tetralogic Pharmaceuticals and NuPathe.
  • ADAM LAURENCE LESSLER
    • Adam graduated from Amherst College in 2001 with a B.A. in Economics.  Following graduation, he joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an analyst in the Mergers & Strategic Advisory Group. Adam then completed a postbaccalaureate premedical program at Columbia University in the spring of 2004.  From 2004 to 2005, he worked as a research assistant in Harvard Medical School's Department of Health Care Policy where he investigated the effects of financial incentives and hospital characteristics on costs and quality of care.  Adam began at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in August 2005 and has now completed three years of medical school.  At Penn Med, he has been involved with UCC, a free health clinic, and served as class treasurer.  During the summer between my first and second years, he interned with the Health System's Chief Medical Officer, working on projects involving patient safety, pharmaceutical rep policy, quality improvement, and professionalism.  His clinical interests include emergency medicine and radiology.

  • WENDY S. LIU
    • Wendy graduated from Columbia College in 1999, from which she recevied a BA in History after also completing the pre-medical requirements. Upon graduation, she joined a health care-only hedgefund in New York as a junior analyst in medical devices. Wendy then moved into sell-side research over the following five years, first covering pharmaceuticals/biotechology at Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, then large-cap biotechnology at Deutsche Bank, and finally small/mid-cap biotechnology at J.P. Morgan.  In 2005 she joined a private, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, PeriCor Therapeutics in New York as Director, Planning and Market Analysis. Having joined since PeriCor's inception, Wendy participated in the full spectrum of its business, ranging from corporate planning and governance matters to clinical development, and from competitive and market analyses to business development. In early 2008, she was promoted to Senior Director, Corporate Development and Planning.

  • DAAN PIETER LIVESTRO, MD
    • In 2006, Daan graduated from the University of Utrecht Medical School in the Netherlands. He interrupted medical school for a year to do a research fellowship at the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The studies Daan performed there on rare forms of melanoma were published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and in Cancer. For this work, he was awarded the Thalma Eijkman award for best research performed by medical students at Utrecht University. From 2004 until 2007, Daan was a member of the Surgical Oncology research lab in Utrecht, and participated in several studies on gastro-intestinal cancer surgery. After medical school, he decided to pursue a career in business and moved to Portugal to become interim manager at Herdade Outeiro de Esquila, his family's wine estate. Daan developed a long-term business strategy and successfully implemented many difficult but necessary changes to improve the company.

  • GREG MATTHEW MILLHAUSER
    • Greg graduated with General Honors from Penn in 2003, where he studied History and Sociology of Science and was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.  Following graduation, he joined Monitor Group in New York as a strategy consultant specializing in the healthcare industry.  After working on corporate, competitive, and marketing strategy projects for a multitude of leading and specialty pharmaceutical and medical device companies, Greg sought to widen my global footprint by spending nearly 2 years in Los Angeles, Johannesburg, London, and Berlin.  While outside the US, he led projects that included developing strategy for the South African government and helping to negotiate a $200 million pharmaceutical in-licensing deal.

  • S. REGAN MURPHY
    • Regan graduated from Dartmouth College in 2002 with a BA degree in Biology Modified (Neuroscience).  Following graduation, she worked at the National Women's Health Network in DC authoring clearinghouse information on women's health, and followed by an apprentice fellowship at DDB Bass & Howes in NY doing advocacy consulting for Genentech and the Pfizer Foundation.  Regan joined the Advisory Board Company in 2003, where she initially helped develop the Academy Fellowship curriculum for high-potential healthcare executives on finance, strategy, and human capital.  In 2005, Regan became one of the original Dedicated Advisors for the Advisory Board's business intelligence program, Revenue Cycle Compass.  This involved managing the tool, training, assessments, and the overall relationship for 17 clients, as well as organizing aspects of the initial Partner Summit.  In 2006, she joined Deloitte Consulting as a Consultant in their Strategy & Operations Healthcare & Life Science group.  Regan worked with academic medical centers & teaching hospitals on projects varying from productivity improvement to volume & growth strategy.  She spent the last year focusing on IT best practices and strategic planning, which included developing firm material on translational medicine and personal health records.

  • BRENT ROBERT NASH
    • Brent graduated from Wharton Undergraduate in 2001 with a BS in Economics Magna Cum Laude.  HeI joined Goldman, Sachs & Co's San Francisco office in the summer of 2002 and spent two years in the Private Wealth Management Group and two years in Investment Banking.  In 2006, Brent joined Genstar Capital, a middle market private equity firm with a strong focus on the Health Care Services and Life Sciences sectors.  During his tenure at Genstar Brent was a member of deal teams which both closed take-private transactions and advised portfolio companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as debt refinancing transactions.

  • VIVIAN BEATRIZ DE NATALE, MD
    • Vivian graduated in 2000 from Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil with an MD degree. Following graduation, she completed the three-year residency program in gynecology and obstetrics at the same institution and in 2004 was invited to join the gynecologic oncology surgery group. As part of that group, Vivian performed more than a hundred pelvic oncology surgeries and developed leadership skills by mentoring residents for over two years. She has been working as a gynecologist in several locations since 2004, ranging from private practice to public services. In the public sector, Vivian helped to provide managerial and operational improvements in a low-income neighborhood ambulatory center where she also performed volunteer workshops to teenagers about DSTs and birth-control. These experiences sparked Vivian's interest in the managerial side of Health Care. In 2006, she joined the post-graduate course in Health Care Management in Fundacao Getulio Vargas through which she performed an internship project at Sirio Libanes Hospital.

  • JENNIFER RACHEL O'NEILL
    • Jennifer attended Penn State University and graduated with Honors in 2001 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.  She worked as a supply chain consultant at Accenture for three years, focusing on procurement projects for clients in a variety of industries and sectors. She then accepted a position in strategic sourcing at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Collegeville. Jennifer negotiated contracts and analyzed procurement activity for raw materials and contract manufacturing for biopharma and vaccine products.

  • ASHISH PARIKH
    • Ashish graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with degrees in Business Administration and Operations Management.  He then spent three years as a consultant at Bain & Co in Chicago where he worked across industries and ran the office Junior Achievement Program, along with also helping start the firm's India operation in New Delhi.   Ashish also did a rotation at The Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit consulting firm, where he primarily helped develop a growth plan for a youth development organization, but also worked with big pharmaceutical companies on providing therapies to the uninsured.   Ashish left Bain to work in Pfizer's R&D Strategy Group, where he performed projects involving nanotechnology and spin-out strategy.  In 2007, Ashish moved to Philadelphia and has have focused on evaluating clinical compounds with Acureon Pharmaceuticals, a seed-stage start-up.

  • NEIL NITIN PARIKH
    • Neil graduated in 2005 from the University of Southern California with a BA in Biology and a BA with Honors in Journalism. Following graduation he began medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California where he is an MD candidate for 2011.  A significant portion of Neil's professional experience has been in medical journalism, as he has worked with the Orange County Register medical investigative team, with the CNN medical unit, and with the American Medical Association's ethics journal. His research interests include the cultural and socioeconomic factors that impact medicine.
  • LEN PODOLSKY
    • Len graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with a BA in Economics and Political Science. After graduation, he worked for Health Strategies Group for two years where he consulted for the pharmaceutical industry on managed care and provider marketing strategy. In 2004 Len went to work for GlaxoSmithKline, supporting the Levitra brand in a market research function. In 2005, he went to work for Piper Jaffray as an equity research analyst and covered the healthcare services sector, which included information technology, radiology, and disease management companies. Len began working out of the San Francisco office and later moved to the New York office.

  • ROMAN V. RARIY, PHD
    • Roman graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) in 1993 with a BS degree and in 1996 with a PhD degree (both in Chemistry).  During my PhD program, he spent half of a year working at INSERM (France) leading joint research efforts between Russian and French laboratories.  After graduation, Roman completed his post-doctoral training at MIT and later joined Gillette Corporate R&D.  His transition from a researcher to a project manager and later to a group leader occurred in 2002 when Roman joined the newly-formed Collegium Pharmaceutical as its first full-time employee.  By helping to build the company from the ground-up alongside the founders, he was able to contribute to and gain a great deal of expertise in virtually all aspects of pharmaceutical product development and commercialization. Roman established and led a Topical Products R&D group that was responsible for the development and consequent market launch of seven dermatological products.  He has been a major contributor to Collegium’s Intellectual Property portfolio.  Over the last six years, Roman has held several positions within the company with the most recent being Senior Director of Product R&D.

  • CHRISTOPHER STEWART “AVERY” REAVES
    • Avery is a 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Duke University, where he double majored in Political Science (with a concentration in International Relations) and Economics.  Immediately following graduation, he worked for three years in the Atlanta office of the Boston Consulting Group as an Associate and, upon promotion, a Consultant. His healthcare experiences included analyzing overhead spending for a Belgian pharmaceutical company, developing a US market entry strategy for a leading Danish medical devices manufacturer, prospecting acquisition targets and performing due diligence for a mid-tier health insurer, and designing a preventive health suite of offerings for a health and wellness client targeting large insurance provider and corporate populations.  Since leaving BCG, he has served as a campaign manager for a municipal election candidate and worked as a personal aide to Senator Fred Thompson during his campaign for the presidency. 

  • WONJAE BENJAMIN (BEN) RHEE
    • Ben graduated with High Honors from Swarthmore College in 2004 with a BA degree in Biology and Economics.  Following graduation, he joined Accenture as an Analyst and was aligned with the Health & Life Sciences Pharmaceutical R&D group.  In 2006, Ben transferred into the Health & Life Sciences Strategy group, and was promoted to Consultant.  During his time at Accenture, he gained significant experience in project management, process re-engineering, budget management, and R&D strategy / operations.

  • PAYMAN ROGHANI, MD
    • Payman graduated from SBMU, one of the major medical schools in Iran, with a MD degree in 2001. Upon graduation, he began working as a physician in a clinic. He also worked part-time as a Medical Representative promoting European generic drugs for a company based in Iran. He then began working at Eli Lilly as a Medical Representative, where he learned about pharmaceutical sales and marketing basics. Payman then moved to Novartis in 2005 and took charge of four neuroscience products. He was responsible for building relationships with key accounts and conducting presentations in medical centers. He was also partly responsible for preparing sales forecasts and marketing plans. In 2006, Payman joined Solvay Pharmaceuticals to build the company’s first sales team in Iran and led the team responsible for promoting the company’s key products across the country.

  • DAVID JEFFREY SACKEL
    • David is a 2005 Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Duke University, where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry.  David has completed three years of medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and is now enrolled in the joint MD/MBA program.  While at Penn, David has participated as a full member of the medical school admissions committee and has also volunteered at the United Community Clinic (an organization dedicated to providing free health care to the surrounding community).  He has engaged in a variety of different research opportunities, including both laboratory and clinical research.  David have co-authored 2 papers, one published in Blood on platelet microparticles and another in The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology entitled “Anesthesia Awareness: An Analysis of its Incidence, the Risk Factors Involved, and Prevention.”

  • VISHWAS SESHADRI, PHD
    • Vishwas graduated from the Delhi University with B.Sc. (honors) Biochemistry (1996) and completed M.Sc. Biotechnology from the M.S. University of Baroda (1998). He obtained a doctorate from the University of Arizona (2004), during which he studied how living organisms could keep certain genes turned off or on and how aberrations in such decisions caused diseases. As a post doctoral research associate, Vishwas studied a similar molecular phenomenon in the lab of Dr. Vicki Chandler, a renowned name in the field of Epigenetics and published results in journals like "Nature" and "Journal of Biological Chemistry." He then moved on to the Pharma world at Dr.Reddy`s, where he was involved in the development of Biologics for treating cancers and auto-immune disorders. After 1.5 years in project management, Vishwas was given an opportunity in Business Development to manage product portfolio, negotiate development deals with partners, draft term sheets and agreements, and participate in strategic planning. 

  • LILY SHAPIRO, PHARM.D
    • Lily graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Bouve College of Pharmacy at Northeastern University in 2004. She has worked as a pharmacist in a retail setting since graduating, and most recently, at an independent pharmacy in East Harlem in NY.

  • DAVID ROBERTSON SILK
    • David graduated with honors from Princeton University in 2002 with an AB in History. Following graduation he joined the Lewin Group in Falls Church, VA,. As a Research Analyst there, he focused on the financial analysis of hospital systems and worked on a number of federal and foundation contracts focused on the application of evidence-based medicine throughout the healthcare system. He left Lewin in 2004 to join a start-up healthcare consulting firm in Washington, DC, Avalere Health (then called the Health Strategies Consultancy). David worked in the Reimbursement Practice at Avalere, where he helped design product launch strategies for new medical device, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical products. In addition, he helped to grow the company from 25 to 125 in 4 years.

  • ASHLEY ELIZABETH SMITH
    • Ashley graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a BA degree in Public Policy Studies and a Health Policy Certificate. Following graduation, she joined The Lewin Group as an Analyst within the Healthcare Policy Group. Ashley performed comprehensive literature reviews and produced reports and issue briefs, including TrendWatch Reports for the American Hospital Association and technology assessments for the AHRQ and US Preventative Task Force. In 2005, she joined The Chartis Group, a healthcare management consulting firm, as an Analyst. Ashley supported advancement of the delivery system for health systems, academic medical centers and community hospitals through strategic assessment and plan development, as well as operations redesign implementation, using rigorous analysis, modeling, and client and team relationship management. She was eventually promoted to Consultant.

  • SPENCER ALLEN SMITH
    • Spencer graduated from Princeton University in 2004 with an AB in Economics, Magna Cum Laude and a certificate in German.  He joined McKinsey & Co. after graduation as a Business Analyst in the New Jersey office. There he worked within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Products practice.  His experience included work with major and specialty pharma companies, primarily evaluating strategic acquisition opportunities, building new businesses, and prioritizing pipeline development programs.  Spence then left to join Aisling Capital, a health care private equity firm with $1 billion under management.  Spencer worked as a member of the investment team and his responsibilities included evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, executing transactions, and participating in portfolio company board meetings.

  • ERICA ST. JOHN
    • Erica graduated from Harvard University in 2001 with an honors degree in Applied Math and Economics.  Following graduation, she became an investment banking Analyst with Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles, focused on financing and strategic advisory for healthcare, industrial and consumer products companies.  In 2003, she joined the Boston-based private equity firm Summit Partners as an Associate, responsible for sourcing new investments.  Erica returned to Merrill Lynch in 2004 as an Associate and was later promoted to Vice President.  She has been actively involved in several notable healthcare transactions, including the leveraged buyout of HCA, convertible financings for Amgen and the hostile acquistion of Ventana by Roche.

  • SARENA SYMA
    • Sarena graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 where she majored in Health & Societies, concentrating in Healthcare Management and Policy. Following graduation, she joined Cambridge Pharma Consultancy, which was subsequently acquired by IMS Health. At IMS Health, Sarena' group specialized in pricing and market access for pharmaceutical products. Her work has focused on emerging markets work, predominantly in Asia.

  • MARINA TARASOVA
    • Marina graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2003, where she majored in Business and Management Information Systems.  After graduation, Marina started the IT Professional Development program at Abbott and rotated between Diagnostics, Global Pharmaceutical Operations, and Abbott International divisions – completing systems analysis and project management roles.  Through her rotations, she became interested in pharmaceutical business and sales. She then transferred to New York for a sales position selling anti-infective, hypertension, cholesterol, and thyroid medications to Internal Medicine physicians. After collecting several sales honors, Marina became the team leader for her sales district and also a Regional Field Trainer.  In 2007, she joined Abbott's Immunology franchise and promoted Humira to dermatologists

  • LAUREN THALER
    • Lauren graduated from Brown University in 2004 with a BA in Psychology.  After graduation, she joined the Advisory Board Company, a best practice health care research firm.  For two years, she split her time between the marketing division and account management.  As Manager of Operations for the firm's first business intelligence tool, a hospital revenue cycle management program, Lauren supervised a team of eight associates to ensure they met their monthly goals.  As Business Manager of a clinical technology assessment program, she secured continuation of client participation after the program's inaugural year and helped hospitals improve decision-making with regard to technology adoption.  After a short six month stint away from the Advisory Board Company, working for a health care public relations firm, Lauren returned to the Advisory Board to pursue a more traditional consulting role as a Dedicated Advisor for the firm's surgical business intelligence program. She worked directly with administrative and medical perioperative teams, helping them improve operational efficiency, patient satisfaction and financial performance. 

  • ERIC AISI TONG
    • Eric graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and physics.  In 2006, he joined the Equity Corporate Finance Team at UBS Investment Bank and worked on the execution of equity fundraisings for corporate clients.  As an analyst, Eric executed transactions for clients in various industries including significant experience in the healthcare space.  His healthcare experience covers a variety of companies including hospital operators, biotech pharmaceuticals, real estate investment trusts, and homecare services.  During the transaction process, Eric worked with clients to understand their growth strategies and to develop investment highlights for institutional and retail investors
  • MEAGAN UNTALAN
    • Meagan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 with a BA degree in Communications and Economics. Following graduation, she joined the Advisory Board Company, Washington, DC a health care best practice research organization. As an Analyst in the Academies Division Meagan created leadership development curriculum for hospital leaders specifically in coursework related to financial impact analysis for physician executives. She then served as a Senior Analyst/Consultant on a new product launch related to retail conferences in the physician leadership education sector growing the firm’s existing physician portfolio. Meagan's subsequent endeavor at ABC began with work in the Business Intelligence division managing 13 organizations across the country using data analysis to improve perioperative department efficiencies and profitability. Working as a Dedicated Advisor she managed implementation of each client’s web-based platform and drove value analysis by identifying major areas of improvement in the surgical unit.

  • PATRICIA VAN ACKER
    • Patricia graduated from the University of Louvain in 1995 with a Bachelor of Laws and in 1998 with an LLM in law. In 2001 she obtained an LLM in Intellectual Property Law and also has postgraduate diplomas in management, marketing, accounting and finance.  The past four years she worked as in-house lawyer at Omega Pharma, a top ten European OTC and personal care company listed on Euronext.  Patricia established and headed the IP department and was responsible for the worldwide registrations and surveillance of IP rights and related agreements. She also provided legal support to the BD and export departments and managed the insurance policies on group level. Patricia furthermore assisted to several M&A’s and the Euronext IPO of Omega Pharma’s B2B company Arseus. Prior to joining Omega Pharma, she worked as Senior Legal Advisor at Deloitte & Touche, providing legal advice on European, commercial, IP and ICT law with particular attention to IP, data privacy and e-commerce. Patricia performed several legal audits and due diligences and followed a 7-month traineeship at OHIM, the European trademark and design office in Alicante (Spain). From 1999 to 2000, she worked as Legal Counsel at Keyware Technologies, a biometric software company, where she established the legal department. Patricia provided legal advice (including on data privacy law), drafted and reviewed agreements, was responsible for the corporate housekeeping and managed the legal issues related to several acquisitions and the EASDAQ IPO.
  • NEIL WADEHRA
    • Neil graduated from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2003 with a BASc degree in Biomedical & Electrical Engineering.  In 2004, he completed his MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering & Medical Imaging from the University of London, England.  Following graduation Neil joined Viking Systems, a medical device company involved in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of high-performance endoscopic vision systems.  There he led the re-design of their flagship product, the 3Di Vision System, and created a High Definition (HD) visualization system – thus allowing surgeons to see 3D video in HD.  Neil was later promoted to Engineering Project Manager and led the complete product design, safety testing, clinical trials, and market release of our OEM HD surgical system (the basis of our entire next-generation product line).

  • ALLISON WALSH
    • Allison graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005 with a BA in Political Science. For the past three years she has been pursuing her MD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During her time at Penn Med, she has been involved in the LCME re-accreditation process as well as becoming an active participant in the AMA student section at both the local and state level. During the summer after my first year of medical school Allison completed an internship under Pat Garcia-Sullivan with UPHS, working closely with Stockamp consultants on the Navicare bed management install at HUP. 

  • JONATHAN (JON) WANG
    • Jon graduated from the University of New South Wales (Sydney) with a BA degree in Actuarial Studies and Mathematics in 2004. During university, he developed a strong interest for healthcare financing through his work experience at a boutique health insurance actuarial firm and at Goldman Sachs investment banking. After graduation, Jon joined the Boston Consulting Group. As a senior associate, he worked for a diverse set of clients across numerous industries; in particular he played key roles assisting major European insurers enter the Chinese health insurance market as well as engineering an acquisition strategy which led to the creation of the second largest insurer in Australia. In 2007, Jon transferred to BCG’s Beijing office where he spent a year working on projects for local Chinese companies to help them develop better corporate governance structures and management processes.

    • Sharon graduated from Brown University in 2005 with a BA in Biology. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to join the Advisory Board Company as a Research Associate. During her time in the custom research department, she wrote strategic research briefs for hospital clients, focusing on clinical service line development, business planning, and staff recruitment and retention. Sharon then transferred to the Academies division to create leadership development courses for nurse managers.  In 2007, she moved to the Syndicated Research department as a Senior Analyst to do best practices research on topics related to hospital revenue cycle management and capital strategy.

  • RICHARD WILLIAM WHELTON
    • Richard graduated from the University of Oxford in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. After graduation, he joined the fast-track management development scheme at Cancer Research UK – the largest non-profit organisation dedicated to cancer research in Europe. During his two years there, he rotated through a number of roles across functions as varied as marketing, fundraising and policy. Upon completion of the training scheme in 2006, Richard joined CR-UK’s Strategy Unit as a project manager, delivering various strategic and business development projects throughout the organisation. Projects included the building of valuation and deal structure models for small-molecule projects in CR-UK’s development pipeline, a strategic review of the organisation’s health promotion function, and analysis of merger and partnership options for the Patient Information department.

  • JONATHON YEATMAN
    • Jon graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Business Administration in 2000 where he was active in student government and theater.  After two years of management consulting with Accenture, Jon joined the business development group at The Advisory Board Company.  Highlights of his six years with The Advisory Board include leading an expansion of our business into Canada, as well as the launches of a membership-based research program for imaging providers and a business intelligence offering to improve hospital-based nursing performance.
